What is Colon Hydrotherapy?

Colon hydrotherapy, also known as colonic irrigation, is a safe and natural procedure that involves the gentle cleansing of the colon using warm, purified water. It is a holistic approach to detoxification and supports the body’s natural ability to eliminate waste and toxins.

During a colonic session, you will lie comfortably on a treatment table while a small, sterile tube is gently inserted into the rectum. Warm water is then introduced into the colon, helping to soften and flush out accumulated waste, toxins, and gas. The water is carefully regulated, ensuring a controlled and comfortable experience. As waste material is released, it is discreetly and hygienically eliminated through a closed system, ensuring a clean and odor-free environment.

  • A single colonic session can provide the benefits of a 3-day fast and may be equivalent to up to 15 bowel movements.

  • The human colon can store 5-10 pounds of waste per foot, with the average male carrying about 5 pounds of decayed red meat in the colon.

  • Eat Light: In the 24 hours leading up to your session, stick to light, easily digestible foods like fruits, vegetables, and soups. Avoid heavy, greasy, or processed foods.

  • Avoid Caffeine & Alcohol: Refrain from caffeine, alcohol, and carbonated beverages at least 24 hours before your session.

  • Wear Comfortable Clothing: Dress in loose, comfortable clothing for ease and relaxation before and after your session.

Post Appointment

  • Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated and support your body’s detox process.

  • Eat Light: Opt for light, easily digestible meals like soups, steamed vegetables, and salads for the next 24 hours. Avoid heavy, greasy, or processed foods.

​

  • Probiotics: To replenish good bacteria, take a probiotic supplement or eat fermented foods like yogurt, kefir, sauerkraut, or kombucha.

​

  • Rest: Give your body time to adjust and avoid strenuous activities immediately after your session.

​

  • Listen to Your Body: If you feel hungry, eat, but focus on nutrient-dense, whole foods.
